The EVO SLS Kite Series by DUOTONE [Review]
Visit Adventure Rig here: goo.gl/OzQc0M
Upgrading to the Duotone Evo SLS Kite has been a game-changer for our kiting experience. Not only are we upgrading from old gear, the Evo has proven to give us unparalleled performance, quite literally transforming our skills and enjoyment on the water. We both were pretty plateaued with our progression, until we got on the new Evos. Our quiver consists of an 8, 10, and 13 and the 10 is our most used kite, as one of us is always on it. (Tyson is 6’0, 190 pounds and I’m 5’10, 155 pounds and our most common winds are in the 15-28 mph range).
The Duotone Evo SLS (Strong Light Superior) is engineered for top-tier performance. The use of Penta TX material makes the kite significantly lighter and more durable than standard models. We’ve found that, especially over our old kites, the reduced weight helps significantly in lighter winds. Overall, the Evos have provided us more consistent performance across various wind conditions.
For us, the versatility of the Evo is key. Tyson is a bit more progressed than I am, however the kite is perfect for both of us. It’s not aggressive, and it’s friendly when trying new tricks. It’s given me such a boost in confidence while learning backrolls because it is very stable. On our old kites, we either had a lack of responsiveness, or one kite that was not great for learning and would want to move all over the place even with small inputs. The three-strut design offers a perfect balance between stability and agility, making it suitable for kiters of all levels and disciplines. We can attest to this hands down, 100%. The steering is direct and precise and paired with the Click Bar, is truly the ultimate setup.
The power and lift generated by the Evo SLS is truly impressive. The kite delivers smooth, predictable power, which is crucial for building confidence and advancing skills. The improved lift and hang time have taken our jumps to new heights and the level of confidence gained on tricks is unmatched.
As mentioned we have this paired with the Duotone Click Bar. For an in-depth look at the Clickbar’s features and benefits, be sure to check out our review of the Click Bar.
Upgrading to the Duotone Evo SLS Kite has undeniably made us better kiters. The advanced features, superior materials, and exceptional performance have given me the tools to push my limits and enjoy every session to the fullest. The investment in this high-quality kite has paid off in the form of enhanced skills, greater confidence, and an overall more enjoyable kiting experience. If you're serious about kiting and looking to take your skills to the next level, the Duotone Evo SLS Kite with the Duotone Click Bar is an upgrade worth considering.

The Women's T1 Overalls by Truewerk [Review]

The Dual Axis Knee & Shin Guards by Leatt [Review]

Buy em here: amzn.to/3to5Y4Y After at least 10 years, it was finally time for an upgrade for my knee and shin protection. I’m psyched to be wearing the Dual Axis Knee and Shin Guard by Leatt. They provide ample protection and are comfortable for all-day wear. I personally like the hard plastic protection, but Leatt makes several variations of knee and shin guards. A great benefit to the Dual Ax...

Thanks for this. BTW, nice bike.
Thanks!!
Thanks. This helped me decide. Cheers :)
Love to hear it!
Hello, do you need an adapter tu use it with the kuchoma?
Nope, the hose that comes with the Ignik connects directly into the Kuchoma stove (or any other camp stove).
use a trangia or esbit with a multifuel stove😊
Thanks for watching!
I love how she said it double's as a weapon
Always thinking!
Nice camp! ❤
Do the Lid and cap contain plastic?
Yes
This is a bit old, but dude you did a great job putting this together. You are packing those correctly.
Thanks!
When I put it underwater I have it on video and it stops recording why is this happening
I'm not sure... I would contact Catalyst about the issue.
What is the name of the ⛺️ tent
This tent is the Aspect 3 - ua-cam.com/video/zm6UsuBi8RM/v-deo.html
bonjour, j`ai une gingo airlite 4 et au moment du decolage il est trés dur de s`installer dedans sans devoir lacher les freins et se pousser dedans, je serre peut être trop les sangles?
Yes, it is likely that it is too tight! Try loosening the straps. Do you have somewhere where you can hang from to dial in the adjustments? That way you can practice getting out of the harness as well without actually flying. Good luck!
Took me an hour to get the zip tie to work, then realised I don’t need it as the updated pegs work with the the spring supplied, July 2024. Vanasche make great products but install videos need updates too.
Good to know! We're still running the same pegs from a few years ago. Will pin your comment to the top so others can see that the spring has been updated.
Looking for a solution for my daughter. She has tight curls hair, and a nearly animation style poof-ponytail. Any help would be appreciated, as she is trying to get into the hobby
I think this could work. While it may flatten her curls a little bit, it will protect her hair!
Unlike your other videos, this one is worthless. Just talking about something is not a good review.
Ok then.
Never use an impact drill for RV work. Adjustable ratcheting drill is much safer and far less likely to strip a screw hole or snap a head.
Thanks for watching!!
Still running them? How are they holding up? Do you feel the dead/heavy feel vs tubes or tubliss?
Still running them and just recently put new mousses in. Honestly they lasted much longer than we originally thought. We don't feel a dead/heavy feel with these.
These bottels is a pain in the ass i was going to make dinner but the fucking thing wont open
The cap is a bit child proof which prevents spillage.
Hey i just wanted to say that Hank looks exactly like my fog Koda! Wish i could show you a picture of him! Hes a Vizsla Pit Bull mix we belive! We got him from a shelter as a puppy but he looks just like Hank!
Awww, love that. We lost Hank in August and are still struggling. Hank was also a mix from the pound!
nice video thanks
Thanks for the comment!
Cant find in cardinal red anymore, dont think they make this mode any more :(
This is an old video, however they are still making this pillow!! Just different colors.
Leats sizing is wack. I went in the store and tried on LG/XL and it was tight. I don't like on there website they don't give chest aizes
I went off the size chart and had good luck with it, but I think the best with this type of gear is to try it on in store.
The handle for the jack is suppose to be in a black plastic panel on the door side wall by the driver’s seat. Mine still had a sticker on it telling me it was there.
Good info!
Very nice video. I always use a new cotter pin.
Yes that is good practice!
what kind of condition is it in 7 years later?
We are still using this today and it's still in phenomenal shape. Not worn out at all and still looks fairly new except for some dirtiness.
Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to Part 2.
Thanks for the comment!! We have gotten busy with work but we're excited to get the rest of these out!
Exelent, very good, you are. Great!. Thank I am happy to have the inf. I got stock trailer for first time and your information is going to be a good help for my new proyecto. Thank very m. And God bless you
Glad it was helpful!
Be aware that Therabody has no PowerDot 2.0 replacement pads available literally anywhere in North America, and as of 11June2024 is not able togive their own agents, let alone consumers an idea of when these may return to shelves. If you are considering buying this product, ensure that replacemnt pads are indeed available.
We just use these.... amzn.to/4eJeHCf
I love mine!
Same!!
Helpful Tks
Thanks for watching!
🇧🇷👏
:)
Great tent but it’s only 47” wide. Will not fit 2 25” pads. Specs say it’s 50” wide. It’s not
Interesting! Thanks for making the comment. We will pin to the top.
Put your down jacket in the dryer with wool balls on low
Ok!
Are you a GA A&P? Im debating getting mine but i dont want to be stuck on night shift forever. Any advice? Pros cons? Looks beautiful.
I'm not an A&P. We own a crop dusting business and do a lot of maintenance in house. Working on airplanes can be fun, overwhelming, challenging, but so rewarding! We can't speak really to the A&P career b/c neither of us have lived it but there are likely resources out there that can help. Good luck!
We just bought one from Bass Pro and took it to Tractor Supply to have it filled. They tried three separate times, but it would not fill with propane. We took it back to Bass Pro and exchanged it for a different tank and tried to fill this one at a Pilot. They were also unsuccessful. They seem unfillable.
We have never had this issue however I did a quick search and it looks like a ton of people are complaining of this issue! Sounds like the overflow protection valve is getting stuck and it sounds like a widespread issue. Hopefully Ignik can get this sorted soon!?!
@AdventureRig I also think it is the overflow protection valve. I read on a troubleshooting page to try filling it using the hose it comes with and only cracking the valve a tiny bit so it trickles in slowly. We ended up going to Ace Hardware and getting their 5lb tank and they filled it on site. It was also half the price of the Ignik.
How to you stabilize it? I decided to leave it at home cuz the 2 e bikes were mounted were very wobbly over simple bumps. We had a stabilizer (the U thingy) to the pivot. Should I have add a stabilizer to the rack as well?
Did you watch around 13:05? Do you have the pin that threads into the pivot? And are you tightening down the adjustment knob at the back of the rack? Hope this helps!
Love your honest thoughts and reviews ❤
Thank you for the comment!
This oven is a rip off. I can't get it to stay well lit. It fires up then loses pressure. I literally can't cook anything, can't even boil water. Forget cooking in the oven.
That does not sound like it is working properly. We have had no issues and have used it in pretty windy environments. Have you tried contacting Camp Chef for some trouble shooting? Is your propane regulator seated in place?
Very well informed thank you
Thank you!
this is not going well for me installation wise.. what did you use specifically to tap ?
The correct tap is provided...
@@AdventureRig yeah i realized i need a tap wrench..was trying to ratchet it with a 3/8” ratchet and a 9mm at first which worked about 1/4 of the way
Great pegs.... But the ones I just got had a different spring type.... I actually like the spring better as it's easy to install and no zip tie trick needed.
Which ones did you get?
Looks like the tried and true Trangia system with a heat exchanger upgrade.
Thanks for watching!
You live in BV? Nice video 🤙🏻
We do! Thanks!
Great video!!!
Thank you!!
Love your dog ❤
He was a great dog! He passed away last August and left an enormous hole in our hearts.
Removal: Remove oil seal Installation: Installation is reversal of removal
Thanks for watching.
@@AdventureRig i hope you understand the reference
What size diameter is the cup holder? My wife and I have water bottles that measure 3 3/8 inch wide? Thank you!
Sorry we're not around the chair and I don't know off hand the size.
Great review, I was wondering what are your thoughts about using this product for mountain biking, do you think it’s to bulky? Do you think mobility is going to be affected? I’m riding a lot of black diamond trails and had my share of falls but I think it’s time for me to move on on to something more legit , ok thanks again I hope you can reply soon.
Thanks for watching Julio. I think personally I would recommend the 3D AirFit body protector from Leatt for a situation like that. It does not have any plastic and is a little less bulky but still offers a ton of protection. They do have mountain bike specific options as well I believe.
Can you give me a link to your jump start device?
amzn.to/457W6eO Still using it today!
I need one just because!! Haha thank you!!
Works perfect but GPS Garmin Tread is to low over the spedometer for this so i ordered the adjustable one now.
That's a great idea!
Personally I would never put screws through the RV and instead I would use 3M VHB double sided tape and trust me after 24/48 hours the stuff is completely set up and it will never come loose. I mean right away it won't come off but it still does this microscopic stuff seeping into pours and does this for a couple of days. I have been using VHB which stands for very high bond for about 7 years and I am amazed by it's performance. So conclusion is that your install time will go from 4 hours to what 30 minutes? Plus you have no holes in your RV. You would need razor blades I believe to cut the seal to remove.
We have used VHB for some stuff on the roof but I don't think that we would ever put something so heavy and intricate on with VHB tape. Especially with the movement of the slide pulling the slide awning out, seems like it could be risky. Using the butyl tape and screws worked well for us and we never had any issues. Yes, it did take a long time, but it never gave any issues.
